Knowledge grows when it is shared. We back the people and communities who create it - maintainers, researchers, educators, students, and creators - and we keep what they build open, reproducible, and free for everyone.

Our story

From a monthly meetup to a stadium

Five years of building the Eindhoven knowledge-sharing community, one event at a time.

  1. The meetups begin

    Rotating venues, Eindhoven

    PyData Eindhoven starts as a monthly meetup for Python, Julia, data and AI.

  2. PyData Eindhoven

    Eindhoven

    The meetup grows into a full community conference.

  3. The first JuliaCon Local

    High Tech Campus

    We co-host the first city-level JuliaCon Local alongside PyData Eindhoven.

  4. JuliaCon 2024 at the PSV stadium

    Philips Stadion (PSV)

    600+ in person · 330+ sessions

    The global JuliaCon comes to Eindhoven for the first time, co-hosted with PyData - inside the PSV football stadium.

  5. PyData Eindhoven 2025

    High Tech Campus, The Strip

    The community conference returns, still volunteer-run and free of sales pitches.
